About

My name is Yunze Zeng. I am a Machine Learning Engineer at Roblox in San Mateo, CA. Before that, I was a Research Scientist at Bosch Research, where I built intelligent sensing systems with applied machine learning. Especially, I brought in innovative wireless sensing ideas to enable new business for Bosch in automotive and smart home/building domains.

I received my Ph.D. in Computer Science from University of California Davis where I was supervised by Prof. Prasant Mohapatra. During the study at Davis, I was selected as Business Development Fellow from Graduate School of Management, and I got Honorable Mention in Recognition of Outstanding Graduate Research from Computer Science Department.

Before coming to Davis, I received my B.S. from Beijing Jiaotong University in China where I was studying in Science Experimental Class (“思源班”). As an undergraduate, I was also a visiting student at University of California San Diego.

Current Research Interest

Multimodal ML, Generative AI, Applied ML Systems, Wireless Sensing
